DAY 03: SALLERI – Salleri, the district headquarters of Solukhumbu, is a charming town often used as a gateway for trekkers heading to the Everest region.
- Explore Local Monasteries (Chiwong & Tupten Chholing Monastery)
- Salleri Bazaar
- Local Hot Springs great for relaxing your muscles after trekking.
DAY 04: PALYA – “Palya” could refer to “Palung” which is an ancient village development committee in Makwanpur District, Bagmati Province, Nepal.
- Explore Taksindu Monastery
- local food like Sherpa stew (Shyakpa), thukpa, momos, and yak cheese at traditional teahouses.
- Pine forests, and rolling hills surrounding Phaplu.
DAY 05: PHAKDING – Phakding is a small village in the Khumbu region, Located at 2,610m (8,563 ft), it sits along the Dudh Koshi River, offering beautiful scenery, cultural experiences.

DAY 06 & 07 : NAMCHE BAZAAR – Namche Bazaar (3,440m / 11,286 ft) is the main trading hub and acclimatization stop for trekkers heading to Everest Base Camp. It’s a vibrant town with breathtaking mountain views, cozy teahouses, and plenty of things to explore.

DAY 08: TENGBOCHE – Tengboche is home to Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region, and offers breathtaking views of Ama Dablam, Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse.
- Tengboche Monastery ( 300-year-old Tibetan Buddhist monastery and a key spiritual site for Sherpas.)
- Panoramic Mountain Views of best sunrise and sunset views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, and
Thamserku. - Ama Dablam, one of the most beautiful mountains in the world.
- Tenzing Norgay Memorial Stupa
- Deboche Pangboche & best star-gazing in the Himalayas!
DAY 09: DINGBOCHE – Major acclimatization stop on the Everest Base Camp trek. Nestled in a beautiful valley surrounded by Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Island Peak, this village is a great place to explore and rest.
- Last major acclimatization stop before heading to Lobuche and Everest Base Camp.
- Cafe 4410, the highest café in the region, for great coffee, cake, and WiFi.
- Stargazing here is spectacular
DAY 10: LOBUCHE – Second-last stop before EBC.
- Italian Pyramid Research Center (5,050m)
- Thukla Pass Memorial (Scott Fischer and Rob Hall (from the 1996 Everest disaster).
- Panoramic views of Nuptse, Pumori, and the Khumbu Glacier.
- Wake up at night, step outside for a breathtaking view of the Milky Way.
DAY 11 GORAK SHEP & EVEREST BASE CAMP SUMMIT – Gorak Shep is the last settlement before Everest Base Camp (EBC) and serves as a rest stop for trekkers. At this extreme altitude, most people focus on reaching EBC and hiking Kala Patthar for the best Everest views.
- Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m / 17,598ft) 🏔 The trek from Gorak Shep to EBC takes about 2-3 hours one way
across rocky and icy terrain. - Hike Kala Patthar (5,545m / 18,192ft) for the Best Everest Views 🌄 The hike takes 1.5 to 2 hours but is steep and challenging due to the altitude.
- From the top, you get breathtaking views of Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, and the Khumbu Glacier.
- Explore the Frozen Khumbu Glacier & Icefall

DAY 12: PHERICHE – Popular stop for trekkers on the way down from EBC & terrain here is flat and windy,
- Himalayan Rescue Association (HRA) Clinic Dughla Pass (Thukla, 4,620m)
- Pheriche Ridge for panoramic views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and the Imja Valley.
- Relax & Recover Before Descending Further
- Try Ginger tea, garlic soup, or a warm plate of dal bhat
DAY 13 :NAMCHE BAZAAR /DAY 14 : SALLERI/ DAY 15 :KATHMANDU
