Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand is a journey for the upliftment of the soul and innermost self.
Located in the Garhwal Himalaya ranges in Uttarakhand, these are the four most sacred Hindu
shrines that draw devotees from India and around the world. The purpose of this sacred
journey is to attain salvation or moksha, the ultimate state of liberation in Hinduism. Char
Dham Yatra is a pious pilgrimage tour to sacred Badrinath (abode of Lord Vishnu), Kedarnath
(abode of Lord Shiva), Gangotri (abode of goddess Ganga), and Yamunotri (abode of goddess
Yamuna) Shrines. There is another Char Dham, which consists of four holy sites scattered all
over India. The 4 Dham Temples in Uttarakhand is a journey to fulfill your transcendent quest.
It’s a journey to escape from the worldly charms to Eden- a paradise of the almighty where the
chaos of the world stops and ethereal harmony prevails. Each of the Dhams of this Hindu
pilgrimage circuit is dedicated to a different deity and has its major significance. Yamunotri,
from where the Char Dham Darshan Tour begins, is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, while
Gangotri is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Kedarnath, which is revered as one of the 12
jyotirlingas, is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and Badrinath, which is also a part of the Char Dham
established by Adi Shankaracharya, is dedicated to Lord Badri, or Vishnu.

EARLY MORNING AFTER BREAKFAST, DRIVE TO JANKICHATTI / PHOOLCHATTI. START YOUR
TREK FROM HERE TO YAMUNOTRI (6KMS) (EITHER BY WALK OR BY HORSE OR BY DOLI AT
YOUR OWN COST). AFTER ARRIVAL AT YAMUNOTRI TAKE A BATH IN THE WARM WATERS OF
SURYA KUND (HOT SPRING). ENJOY DARSHAN OF"YAMUNAJI". RETURN TREK TO
JANKICHATTI. LATER DRIVE TOWARDS BARKOT. OVERNIGHT STAY AT BARKOT.

MORNING AFTER BREAKFAST, RELAX FOR A WHILE. LATER DRIVE TO GANGOTRI VIA
UTTARKASHI. VISIT SHIVGUFA ON THE WAY TO UTTARKASHI. IN UTTARKASHI VISIT
KASHI VISHWANATH TEMPLE. AFTER THAT, CHECK IN HOTEL. DAY FREE FOR REST.
OVERNIGHT STAY AT GANGOTRI.

EARLY MORNING AFTER DARSHAN TAKE A HOLY DIP IN THE SACRED RIVER GANGES WHICH
IS ALSO CALLED BHAGIRATHI AT ITS ORIGIN. PERFORM POOJA AND DARSHAN, AND AFTER
THAT RELAX FOR SOME TIME IN THE LOVELY SURROUNDINGS. VISIT HARSHIL VALLEY.
LATER DRIVE TO UTTARKASHI. OVERNIGHT STAY AT UTTARKASHI.

ALONGSIDE THE RIVER TO REACH PHATA, AND CHECK INTO THE HOTEL ARRIVAL IN PHATA.

WAKE UP EARLY IN THE MORNING AND VISIT OMKARESHWAR TEMPLE (WINTER HOMELAND
OF KEDARNATH DOLI). AFTER BREAKFAST DRIVE TOWARDS BADRINATH. IF WE LEAVE
UKHIMATH EARLY IN THE MORNING AND REACH CHOPTA, WE CAN ALSO VISIT TUNGNATH
TEMPLE BY (TREK 5KM ON ONE SIDE) IF TIME DOES NOT ALLOW US THEN WE WILL
DIRECTLY GO BADRINATH VIA CHOPTA VALLEY.

RISE BEFORE DAWN AND TAKE A BATH IN THE WARM WATER OF THE TAPT KUND, A
NATURAL THERMAL SPRING. VISIT THE HOLY PLACES IN BADRINATH SUCH AS NARAD
KUND, AND BRAHMA KAPAL, THEN VISIT MANA THE FIRST INDIAN VILLAGE. YOU CAN
ALSO VISIT THE TEMPLE OF NARASIMHA TEMPLE IN JOSHIMATH AN INCARNATION OF
LORD VISHNU. ON ARRIVAL AT SRINAGAR, CHECK-IN AT THE HOTEL.

RISHIKESH/ AIRPORT/HARIDWAR RAILWAY STATION.
