Do Dham Yatra includes the divine darshan of Kedarnath temple and Badrinath temple. Both
Kedarnath and Badrinath are located in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. You can plan
the Dodham yatra from, Haridwar, Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Dehradun which is the nearest
airport, or can start from Haridwar and Rishikesh which are the closest railway stations. Do
Dham yatra with Tungnath generally completed in 6 – 7 days, Kedarnath Dham is believed to be
one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains Lord Shiva disguised
himself as a bull to avoid the Pandavas who wished to pray to him for absolution from the guilt
of killing the Kauravas, their blood relatives. On being detected by the Pandavas, Lord Shiva
plunged into the ground and only the hump of his bull body remained outside. According to
Hindu mythology, the Pandavas built a temple on this site, which later became the sacred
Kedarnath temple. Home to the sacred meditation shrine of Lord Vishnu, Badrinath Dham is
located between the majestic Narayan and Nar mountain ranges. It is one of the country’s most
revered pilgrimage sites and makes for the final leg of the Do Dham Yatra. Featuring
picturesque landscapes and an idyllic atmosphere, the place is a paradise for devotees, nature
lovers, and adventure enthusiasts. Tungnath is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world
and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples located in the Rudraprayag district, in the
Indian state of Uttarakhand.

TEMPLE BY (TREK 5KM ON ONE SIDE) IF TIME DOES NOT ALLOW US THEN WE WILL DIRECTLY GO BADRINATH VIA CHOPTA VALLEY.

NATURAL THERMAL SPRING. VISIT THE HOLY PLACES IN BADRINATH SUCH AS NARAD
KUND, AND BRAHMA KAPAL, THEN VISIT MANA THE FIRST INDIAN VILLAGE. YOU CAN
ALSO VISIT THE TEMPLE OF NARASIMHA TEMPLE IN JOSHIMATH AN INCARNATION OF
LORD VISHNU. ON ARRIVAL AT SRINAGAR, CHECK-IN AT THE HOTEL.

My visit to Kedarnath Temple was a soul-stirring experience that I will treasure forever. The serene atmosphere, the majestic mountains, and the sacred vibes of the temple filled me with peace and gratitude.
Standing in front of the ancient temple, I felt a deep connection with divinity. The journey was challenging, but the sense of fulfillment and calmness I experienced made it all worthwhile. Kedarnath is not just a place; it’s a feeling, and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

We had an amazing trip to Kedarnath all thanks to our driver Mr Amit Bisht (8368921330). Excellent driver great attitude. He is local and knows the place very well. i felt the most safe with this person all my trip. I generally get very stress travelling by road but with Amit i was very confident and comfortable. He s got a good control, excellent driving skills and very patience.

Hello everyone. We a group of 11 members with minimum age of 19 and maximum of 60 years visited kedarnath and badrinath temple this may. I specifically want to write this post for travellers planning for kedarnath. The trek distance is not 16km it’s total of 21 km, but the board’s and all the information available considers only 16km. So please brace urself accordingly. The whole trek path is not at all equipped with toilets, rain shelter or even water source. For us it was real examination with rain and wind. Each and every member of our family had to go through lot of hardship. People who are planning to trek kindly send your laugauge through pittho because it’s very difficult to walk specially with bags. Do carry basic medicines. We enjoyed the temple and definitely the scenic beauties but really heart broken to see one of the most prestiouges temples of India in this condition. Lot many things are needed to be done. Weather and slope of the path is already a big challenge, lack of facilities and shelters make it even more worse. Key points:
1) pls don’t carry heavy bags.
2) Do keep some gap in the itenary. Two days for kedarnath is a must.
3) carry oxygen cylinder and important medicines.
4)pls keep lot of emergency cash, as there is no way to withdraw cash.
5)proper woollen clothes are needed.
It’s difficult but not impossible. Keep the spirit high and chant lord shiva. Every individual have different experience.
